Managing Stormwater In Washington
On March 9th, KJ Consultants was the Title Sponsor for the Managing Stormwater in Washington conference, the most attended stormwater conference in the Northwest. This conference is hosted annually by the Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC).
As the Pacific Northwest’s leading stormwater event, the conference brought together regulated companies, governments, solution providers, and regulators to provide an exceptional forum for learning, networking, and business development. The event focused on industrial, municipal, and construction stormwater issues and was well attended by many local municipalities and businesses and the agencies responsible for stormwater regulation.
KJ also featured two presentations at the event to share our experiences in stormwater treatment and regulations. If you missed this year’s conference or our presentations, they have been made available here:
Laura Weiden gave a presentation about what is required in a Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan and fielded some tough questions from the audience.
Nathan Ward provided a case study of a KJ designed bioretention retrofit to treat and infiltrate industrial stormwater from an 11+ acre drainage basin for the Port of Longview, WA.
Managing Stormwater In Oregon
KJ also is the title sponsor this year for the second-annual Managing Stormwater in Oregon conference, also hosted by NEBC. This year’s event is set for June 21, 2016 at the Red Lion Hotel on the River – Jantzen Beach.
