The Dalles Wastewater Treatment Plant Progressive Design-Build Phase 2 Upgrades project was recognized with a Grand Award at the 2019 American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Oregon Engineering Excellence Awards Dinner.
Kennedy Jenks attended the awards dinner with the City of The Dalles and Mortenson Construction on January 16th, 2019. We enjoyed hearing about and celebrating all the innovative projects developing in Oregon and were honored to be recognized with our project team for this wastewater progressive design-build project.
Kennedy Jenks served as design engineer for this award-winning project; the first municipal progressive design-build for a major wastewater treatment plant in the state of Oregon. The treatment facilities and equipment were designed and constructed to treat peak wastewater flow rates while promoting sustainability by lowering blower operating costs and generating clean energy.
