Ms. Jamie Kolkey has been appointed as Kennedy Jenks’ Operations Manager for Northern California for the Water Business Unit. In her new role she will be responsible for operations and leadership of five offices in the firm’s water sector: Sacramento, Walnut Creek, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Santa Rosa.
Ms. Kolkey, 33, joined Kennedy Jenks in 2016 as a project engineer in Pasadena, eventually moving to Sacramento to manage vital engineering design and construction projects across Northern California. These projects ranged from potable water, wastewater, recycled water, groundwater wells, hydraulic analyses and master planning.
In 2019, Ms. Kolkey was appointed Principal and Operations Manager in California’s Central Valley for the firm’s Water Business Unit where she managed an office of 30 professionals. During the current COVID-19 crisis, her leadership skills have been instrumental in achieving effective communication, project management success and employee morale.
In early 2020 she was named to the Kennedy Jenks’ Board of Directors, where her strategic expertise and clear insights have already provided value to Board meetings and discussions.

A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Ms. Kolkey received her BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the state of California. She is a member of the UCLA Engineering School Alumni Association and actively mentors several student groups annually.
