Kennedy Jenks (KJ) announces the return of Dean Wood as Client Director and Principal-in-Charge of projects for public and private sector clients in the Northwest and California.
For more than 15 years, Wood has provided project management on complex water infrastructure projects along the Pacific coast, with a focus on risk management, constructability, decision-making, and project documentation.
He first joined Kennedy Jenks in September 2014 as Client Director, leading KJ’s Alternative Delivery Market in the Northwest and overseeing the development of account plans for large public agencies.
Wood briefly left his role at KJ to explore other opportunities in the Northwest but was ultimately attracted back to KJ for its culture, project work, and people.
With his return to KJ, Wood will support the overall strategy development and execution for public and private sector clients, serve as Principal-in-Charge for select projects, and contribute to overall business development for KJ.
Dean has been instrumental in bringing several complex water infrastructure projects to fruition throughout his career, with strategic leadership and technical knowledge. We’re eager to welcome Dean back to KJ as we look to advance critical water projects with our clients in the next few years.
In connection with his role at KJ, Wood is an active member of the Design Build Institute of America, the American Council of Engineering Companies, and the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association.
Wood holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University.
