TechEx 2024 was KJ’s largest employee technical conference to date! More than 200 KJ employees from across the country gathered in Denver, CO to share project successes, lessons learned, and technical expertise and innovations. Our theme this year was Empowering Us Through Change, reflecting the rapid growth and change KJ has experienced over the past few years. Workshops focused on building a personal brand, connecting with clients, and managing difficult conversations with grace. KJ’s biennial technical conference is open to all KJ employees, providing important networking and mentoring opportunities while supporting KJ’s culture of excellence.
This year, KJ increased staff to more than 500 employees and opened offices in new regions, making attendance at TechEx an opportunity to connect staff across the country. KJ’s People group had a strong track of presentations to help staff build a successful career. KJ Communities of Practice and project teams held poster sessions to share projects and capabilities. Teams and project staff also submitted dozens of abstracts for consideration for TechEx technical presentations. During an action-packed 44 hours, attendees connected, reconnected, networked, learned, and explored technical topics, new capabilities, new organizational goals, and exciting company-wide opportunities.
