Kennedy Jenks heads to Texas Water 2022 from April 4-7!

Nicole’s background is in conveyance projects ranging from 6 to 84-inch diameter, water/wastewater treatment, water resources, and project management. She has extensive experience working in large groups, and excels at producing, coordinating, and tracking design elements as they develop. She successfully synchronizes engineering efforts across multiple disciplines to prioritize client satisfaction throughout the project lifespan and has practical project experience from planning through construction management. Nicole is also passionate about giving back to our engineering community and is currently serving as the President of the North Texas Chapter of WEAT and the President of the North Texas Section of TAWWA.

Kathy Fretwell has 28 years of engineering experience in managing and designing a wide range of water and wastewater projects including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plants.  Her expertise at challenging, small and large diameter pipelines with construction values ranging from $0.5M to $170M provides clients a resource for rehabilitation and replacement of their critical infrastructure. Kathy is also a committed mentor and passionate about training the next generation of engineers that share her commitment to delivering quality projects from design through construction.

Aurora has 19 years of engineering and management experience. She has had the privilege to serve clients in wide-ranging and complex projects. Her technical experience encompasses planning, evaluation and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, and pump stations with an emphasis on pipeline design including distribution and transmission pipelines, gravity, and pressure sewer pipelines. She is a 2016 Alumni of the Water Leadership Institute program and serves on Kennedy Jenks’ Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Ben is a Project Manager for multi-discipline design projects including traditional design delivery and design-build in Texas, California, and Washington. He has served as the Lead Design Engineer for large diameter pipelines in congested urban areas, site grading and resurfacing, and innovative high-flow stormwater treatment facilities. He has a background in site civil, environmental compliance, and stormwater management.

Simone Guidry is an engineer-in-training with a background in planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Central Texas. She has experience with CIP planning and infrastructure assessment for utility districts. She excels at working in multidisciplinary groups, data analysis, and handling multi-agency permitting. Simone has a BS in Environmental Engineering from Louisiana State University and is the Treasurer of the Society of Women Engineers-Austin Chapter.
