This past fall, 200 KJ employees from across the country gathered in Dallas, Texas to attend TechEx, KJ’s biennial Technical Excellence showcase that highlights our project work, client relationships, and technical expertise. This unique opportunity—which is open to all KJ employees—has been an important part of the cultural foundation of KJ for decades.
This year was extra special, marking the first time TechEx had been held in person since 2018. A modified, virtual event was held in 2020.
Teams submitted dozens of abstracts for consideration for the TechEx mainstage; 12 were selected. During an action-packed 48 hours, attendees met—many in-person for the first time ever—reconnected, networked, learned, and explored topics from tunneling to stormwater, from pipelines to remediation, from One Water to asset management.
