Alex Page named ENR Mountain States Top Young Professional

Alex Page, Principal and Client Service Team Leader at Kennedy Jenks (KJ), has been named an ENR Mountain States Top Young Professional! This annual recognition honors rising stars in the engineering and construction industry across ten regions in the U.S. who are committed to community development, industry advancement, and excellence in their careers.

Alex works in planning, design, and construction management of potable, non-potable, and advanced water treatment projects. Her project work focuses on finding comprehensive water resource solutions taking into account climate and growth challenges for KJ’s clients.

As a project engineer, she has extensive expertise in advanced water treatment for plants including for Monterey One Water in California. There, she served as project engineer during the construction of the $75M Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) and led the expansion design of the plant to a peak capacity of 7.6 million gallons per day.

In addition to her contributions to client success at KJ, she is a dedicated culture builder and serves as the Deputy Water Practice Leader for KJ’s Water Community of Practice and is known as the firm’s defacto historian. In 2019, she spearheaded a comprehensive history book celebrating the firm’s first 100 years in business. More recently, Page was a key team member contributing to the development of KJ’s paid caregiver leave program, KJ Cares. This program offers paid parental leave for new parents as well as paid caregiver leave for staff caring for family members.

Page is an avid mentor who believes sharing knowledge and experiences with one another will help everyone make progress on critical issues facing water systems today. Beyond leading her team at KJ, she is active in industry organizations, such as WateReuse and Rocky Mountain Water AWWA, often taking to the podium at industry conferences to share with, and inspire, others.

Page earned her BS in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states. She joins her KJ colleagues Michael Lubovich, who was named an ENR Northwest Top Young Professional in 2023 and Emily Hudish who was named an ENR Mountain States Top Young Professional in 2022.
