Once you are matched with a local team, you can discuss the framework of your internship in more detail.
All internships include:
• Our practical skills curriculum to help interns navigate the consulting world.
• Mentorship from your KJ support network.
• Multiple professional development sessions per week.
• Nationwide networking and collaboration with clients and KJ colleagues.
• Use of technical skills to deliver meaningful project work.
How long are your internships?
Our Kickstart internships are 10 weeks long, from June to August. However, interns’ start and end dates can vary based on their school schedule, and they may be interns for longer than 10 weeks.
How many interns does KJ have at each location?
The number of interns in an office varies based on location. You may be the only intern in your office, or you may be with several interns. Either way, staff will always be available to support and help you. Networking is a goal of our Kickstart Internship Program, and we host in-person and virtual events so you’ll be meeting other interns from across the country.
What is the hiring process?
After Kickstart internship applications are submitted, resumes are reviewed, and all candidates are contacted with a status update. Selected candidates will then have an initial phone interview. After the phone interview, the candidates moving forward will have one to two additional interviews with the local team. The local interviews may be in person or virtual.
