Join Us for the Rocky Mountain Water Conference in Keystone, Colorado

The 96th Annual Rocky Mountain Water Conference will be held in Keystone, Colorado August 25 to August 28. As a Gold Sponsor, Kennedy Jenks (KJ) has a strong presence at the Rocky Mountain Water Conference, where industry experts will share research and practical insights on issues for the Rocky Mountain states of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico.

Updates in Iron and Manganese Treatment from Groundwater: Pilot Testing for Filter Optimization

Iron and manganese treatment has been a consistent challenge in drinking water treatment and continued evaluation of iron and manganese treatment technologies is necessary. On Monday, Erica will discuss the latest methodologies in groundwater treatment, compare new and existing treatment technologies and offer a deep dive into pilot testing and optimizing filtration processes. Medias being tested include GreensandPlusTM, sand and anthracite, and a new experimental media, AFM®.

Englewood Tackles Taste & Odor Issues with Targeted Side Stream Ozone Treatment

Speakers: Ben Shriber and Zackery Alabbasi

On Tuesday, Ben Shriber will team up with Zackery Alabbasi from the City of Englewood for a collaborative session on taste and odor challenges. They will discuss practical solutions for combating water system taste and odor problems through innovative side-stream ozone treatment techniques. The City currently uses targeted ozonation treatment to improve taste and odor for improved customer confidence.
